The duo... Stanley Street, Central
Really interesting duo... their outfits look alike in an unpretentious way, big jackets, skinny jeans and really nice shoes-- desert boots and loafers are one of my favorites

Spotted... Wyndham Street, Hong Kong
Really love how clean and simple this look is and I love the layering of his sweater and over- sized striped T-shirt, the shirt also adds a little "white" to the dark outfit, which makes the whole look more eye pleasing.

Specs... on the bridge, Hong Kong
Love the old school style this lady has, with her over sized leather jacket and colorful animal print shirt. And what's icing on the cake, are those lovely spectacles hanging around her neck!

It's all about the fabric... Hong Kong
This gentleman is just doing such a great job matching the colors. The brown silk scarf and jacket resonates with his loafers... another amazing thing about this outfit is the choice of fabric. The velvet texture on the jacket and corduroy pants go really well with his suede loafers, makes the look very winter friendly with a touch of classiness. This is definitely a look you'll overlook and miss out a lot if you don't pay much attention to the details.

So Colorful... Leighton Road, Causeway Bay
I admire those who are brave enough to put on so many colors and pattern in an outfit, and actually look nice, because I can never do that... this gentleman's outfit is a bit busy with all the colors, patterns and accessories going on, but it just makes you want to study every piece, it's almost like a treasure hunt.
And p.s It's a small world after all, because I bumped into him again after an hour or so while I was having brunch at Brunch Club.

The double breast jacket... Lee Garden Road, Hong Kong
This gentleman easily got my attention simply because of his double breast jacket and army green pants-- which both are my recent fashion obsessions. The jacket, especially triggers a lot of thoughts. It's such a classic and contemporary mix, with the details and the collar of a classic trench coat in a slim fit and shorter version.

Spotted... Lockhart Road, Hong Kong
A wonderful display of color coordination and playing with prints/ patterns.
Best part of the look-- it speaks out her character.

Denim over denim... Metro Plaza, Hong Kong
Spotted this gentleman during lunch hour nearby my work place, really funny and nice guy. His jeans caught my attention, especially now I'm in the denim industry, I totally understand how many effort and handling it's put into creating these jeans.

The perfect length... Central, Hong Kong
I always think it's really hard to get the seam length of your pants right, especially when there's no exact length you can go for since they vary among different fits and cuttings. I used to do alternations a lot on my pants but now thanks to the trend of cuffed legs, I make alterations less often.

Double Denim Lumberjack, Harbour City, Hong Kong
(Photograph from www.thesartorialist.blogspot.com)
I was reading the sartorialist's blog post about the lumber jacket style the other day, and just 2 days ago i spotted this young gentleman with a similar style, in fact besides the slim fit style, the double denim and leather messenger bag on him offers a stronger vintage- contemporary appeal.

Cool guys... Tsim Sha Tsui, Hong Kong
Two gentlemen with their very own distinct style and look very cool together. I love the denim jacket, the aging looks so natural, I wouldn't say it's perfect yet, but definitely getting there.

School boy... Bangkok, Thailand
Growing up in an Asian country, the idea of wearing school uniforms to school is nothing foreign to me. However, during this trip to Bangkok, I was amazed to find out that even university kids wear uniforms, but of course the school is less strict about what you exactly wear. All this uniform thing reminded me of high school, when I was trying to look different in my school uniform, wearing a pair of patent leather nike kicks just to look cool (wearing sneakers to school was forbidden)
I like the idea of putting a pocket square like the gentleman did on the first 2 snaps, nothing flashy but definitely separates you from the boring crowd. And yea, I love the leather brief case from the bottom picture, it's part of the school uniform for the high school kids, very classy and vintage looking, I'm just curious how many books are you able to carry with that.

Cooolio... Bangkok, Thailand
Floral prints, one of my favorites as most of you will know, and i especially love shirts with pockets nowadays, so i can put my shades (like him) or pocket square. I'm glad that this gentleman didn't wear a belt, because i think it will take away all the attention from the perfect blend of the navy shirt and khaki pants...

Lovely pair again... Siam Paragon, Bangkok
I just love to take pictures of stylish couples, they way they dress and how they influence each others' styles is just fun to watch, these two aren't wearing "in your face" matching clothes but they do look very matching in some way.
