It's all about folded leg jeans and shoes... State street, Madison

I forgot since when I fell in love with folding the legs of my pants. Maybe since i came to the states and the in seam of the pants here were always too long for my size.... anyway, now I feel like the look is almost incomplete without folding the legs up...

Trench... University Avenue, Madison

Love this lady's style! It's a challenge to pull off a trench coat, especially when you pair them with tights, it can easily go the wrong way. But i think this lady did a good job spicing up her look with those funky glasses and leather boots, a really smart move. I'm also glad that she didn't carry a tote or purse but the leather backpack... this look it simply nice.

Making a change

I have been in search for a new wallet for a long time, to replace my previous jack spade wallet/ clutch or as my cousin Chuck says, it's a passport holder.  Anyway, I've been looking at a lot of wallets and I was thinking I've used almost any size of wallets before and maybe it's time to try something new. Recently i fell in love with the idea of just carrying a few cards in my pocket, so I finally decided to get a money clip. The search wasn't too hard, since I specifically wanted a leather one, and this one from Coach grabbed my attention right away, I really like how simple it is.
I know it's a big contrast, but so far... I'm loving it!

Outside American Apparel... State Street, Madison

Look at those shoes, the leathers' almost all worn out and it still looks really nice. That's the beauty of leather. I wonder how long it takes for my boots to be like this.

Jcrew, West Towne Mall, Madison

Spotted this lady when i was shopping at Jcrew the other day. Sorry for the quality though since i wasn't expecting to take pictures I didn't bring my camera, I used my iphone to shoot this, which is not too bad for a camera phone i must say.
Anyway I loved her boots and bag, the balance of the whole look was great, a long down -to- the- knee coat pairing with skinny jeans and ankle boots.

King James... Bradley Center, Milwaukee

So i went down to Milwaukee last weekend to watch the Cavs vs. Bucks game, unfortunate for most of us, James did not play. Anyway, he did not dress for the game but he was on the bench watching the game, and I actually think his outfit was worth talking. I loved his pinstriped suit and he was able to spice up the pale look with the blue vest or cardigan. I guess it wasn't too big of a loss after all...

Lands End Canvas, 411 State Street, Madison

After a decent amount of thinking, I've decided to add more variety to this blog. So from now on, I will post more interesting fashion/lifestyle - related stuff on here, besides snap shots of cool people, so enjoy!

After renovation, this Land's End store has turned into Land's End Canvas, a Martin and Osa and somewhat Jcrew - like store. Its selection is more modern with touches of nautical style. Not bad for its price, but I'm still not too sure where is it positioning itself though.

All in all, a good new place to shop at on State Street!
