Bikers... State Street, Madison

Really like the colors of the bikes, they make cycling so fun. The lady in the first photo even has matching pants, and don't forget to check out her fanny bag, looks great on her.

Earthy...State Street, Madison

I guess the most appealing part of this lady's look is the light earthy tone. The colors on her is almost like a drop of paint on a piece of paper and then adding some water drops to mix out different colors of the same tone, creating a strong layering effect.

Patent!! State Street, Madison

Beautiful patent drivers... it's no easy task to pull off a pair of black shoes. He made a good choice with his jeans, light and worn, making a good contrast with his shinny, dark shoes. I also love how his socks matches his top... really detailed...

High Waist, State Street, Madison

With all the skinny, low waist jeans overwhelming the market nowadays, it's really nice to have a dose of high waist, flare legged jeans. Not to mention, yellow-blue is my favorite combination...

Blue Black White, State Street, Madison

You might recognize this lady if you have been following my blog ever since I've started, she's in one of the first entries with the really nice floral dress. This time she amazed me with just three simple colors, three colors that create such a big contrast, yet really eye pleasing and fashionable.

Sunset, Memorial Library, Madison

I really like these 2 photographs, the color of sunset is just beautiful.
Several things I like about this gentleman's look, I like how he played with the colors nicely, white, gray and navy, how can it go wrong?!
I also love his shoes, they make his whole look so relaxed, in fact I think slip- ons are great substitutes for boat shoes.
Don't forget to pay attention to his jacket, it's such a good fit, the length works out well with the slightly longer t-shirt under it, this creates a great layering effect.

Asian Buddies... State Street, Madison

Met up with my new friends for dinner today. If you have been following my blog, you might recognize the gentleman on the left from Korea.
The other gentleman on the right has a look that is worth mentioning. Again, if you read
Men's Non-No, you'll see his look showing up pretty often.
I love his leather jacket, the fit is perfect, just like a tailor- made. I also love his tights and shorts combination (tights are not just for ladies guys).

American Apparel Guy, Srtate Street, Madison

I spotted this gentleman who works at American Apparel while he's on his cigarette break. Indeed, his whole look is very representative of American Apparel-- Simple yet fashionable. Red, White and Navy, what a perfect color combination. His hair has to be my favorite part of the look, it's really cool and just a bit messy in an unintended way.

p.s does anyone think that he kind of looks like Carter Baizen (Sebastian Stan) on Gossip Girl? Because I do...

Spotted...North Brooks Street, Madison

Really nice suit... I believe he's part of the UW Marching Band. Maybe I never really paid much attention to the band, because I have never seen this suit besides the red kind.
The golden logo on this chest and buttons look perfect on the suit, as well as the white stripes.
His facial hair makes him look incredibly credible and wise, can't imagine him without the beard...

There's just something really nice about the colors on this lady. Her orange gloves, brown shoes, light blue denim, and green backpack creates a beautiful blend of colors.

Nice boots...State Street, Madison

I love her boots, no doubt, I like the color, the style and every little detail of the boots. And it's actually smart to wear socks on top of the leggings, adds a little player attitude to her look.
I think it was a good choice to go for all black, and leave the boots and handbag stand out.
Again, I LOVE the boots, I just can't keep my eyes away from them, definitely the favorite pair of shoes on my blog so far.

AXE Hair

Got your hair cut yet guys?

Man in Black... W. Johnson Street, Madison

It was cold and raining out when I woke up this morning, so I almost decided not to bring my camera with me, because people don't really dress up on such days. But I guess you should never say never. As I was walking to my class, I spotted this gentleman in black.
I love his double breasted pea coat, it's almost a must have for this winter. Not bad for the bag choice as well, and he's one of the few guys who don't wear a backpack to school. His jeans are perfect for him, just the right length and right cut.
My favorite has to be his loafers, I'm glad he didn't wear socks, or his shoes won't stand out as much if he's wrapped with clothes from head to toe.

Outside Starbucks...State Street, Maidson

You don't always need matching blazers and trousers to look smart in a suit... good combination of colors can make you look good too, and especially when you have a blazer that is tailor made like this gentleman's.

Spotted...State Street, Madison

This gentleman has the style that I always wanted to shoot, but I couldn't find the right person.
He definitely looked good in those light blue skinny jeans. It's hard to pull off light colored jeans, unless you have really skinny legs, because light colors make you look fat.
Black Vans Era is almost a must for his style, but he was able to twist things a little bit by adding some "raw" factor to his shoes and jeans, that's a check.
I love his coffee mug too...to me, it's more than just a mug...it's also his part of his look, just a like clutch or wallet.

Inside Sardines...Madison

It's not just this lady, but in general, I love the waitress uniform of Sardines. The all white has a speical appeal to its own.It makes everything look so clean and the color goes perfectly well with the whole marine/navy feel the restaurant is trying to create.

Spotted...Sardine, Madison

Gorgeous look... every item on this lady is really catchy.
Love the pants...really special cutting with the playful pockets. Good job matching the look with the boyfriend blazer...definitely makes the look more relaxed and less formal.
There are tons of details and little things that worth a lot of attention... like the pearl necklace and the white shirt.... not to mention how the patent belt matched perfectly with the black patent clutch/wallet...

Perfect look for this perfect weather...

Lady in Black...The University Book Store, Madison

The whole look is lovely done. All black with a gray top to draw even more attention is smart. Accessories choice was definitely a thumbs up. The jacket and heels gave soul to the look. There's nothing more I need to say about this cool, sleek look. Just sit back and enjoy!

Party of five...State Street, Madison

Really interesting group. It's almost like they have the "Friends" effect. Each of them has some interesting items that worth paying attention to.
Love the leather boots and bags on the ladies. The black artist hat looks great on that lady as well. And my favorite items for sure would be the quilted jacket and scarf on the gentleman.

Leather...Memorial Library, Madison

Really nice color tone, brown, appropriate for cold weather.
I spotted a lot of ladies wearing skinny jeans or leggings with tall boots, but this lady definitely broke through the cluster and grabbed my attention. She was able to differentiate her look with the thick leather belt, it resonates perfectly with the boots.

Worth a thousand words...Library Mall, Madison

People say a picture is worth a thousand words, and I say, this gentleman's look, worth more than a million words. It's really simple, a white tee, shades, a dog tag plus a belt, and that's pretty much it. Nothing fancy in particular, but when it all adds up, they create some sort of chemistry leaving a whole lot of space for our imagination to take over.
Also, when you look closer, there are a lot of details to his look. I love his folded up sleeves and how he matches the plain white tee with a more formal pair of pants, and of course, not to mention his boots...

Layering...State Street, Madison

Master of layering....
1. Dress
2. Leggings
3. Grey socks
4. Flap/Whiskeys of her shoes

Spotted... Hilldale Mall, Madison

It wasn't any pieces of clothing that drew my attention, but the accessories on this lady. I love the colors of her MiuMiu handbag and belt, white and gold...so elegant and so perfect.
Her watch captured quite a lot of attention as well, with all the bling around it, and it's plastic strap. In fact, sometimes a Toy Watch can up your look even more than an expensive watch.

Old school...State Street, Madison

This gentleman is really tall, I had to back up a lot and zoom out my camera lens to take the picture.
I like how he looks so old school with the leather jacket and tie. His blue shirt definitely played an important role in composing the look. If he wore a white shirt instead, his look wouldn't be that interesting.
And i guess what stands out the most is his hair style. I like his bangs a lot... in fact, they are more like an accessory than part of his hair.

Loafers... Hilldale Mall, Madison

A nice pair of loafers... I love loafers... and I'm sure my best buddy Chuck is even a bigger fan. The cords and loafers have created such a classy winter look.

Mary Jane...State Street, Madison

Very interesting lady, she's actually the first person who asked me a lot of things about my blog, very friendly as well.
What makes her look so interesting is the white belt on her white dress, makes her look so clean...and of course, the red shoes were able to spice things up.
Strangely enough, her short hair actually makes her look more girly, at the same time, with a cool guy attitude, and I'm pretty sure long hair wouldn't work out the same way.
